Lucia Galindo

Lucia’s passion for fitness first began as an athlete, then an injured athlete. Injury fueled her to become a personal trainer in 2003 to recover from multiple knee surgeries.

She “accidentally” discovered Yoga in 2008 and her devotion to the practice inspired her to pursue the path of a Yoga instructor in 2013. She attended the Shakti Yoga Shala School of Hatha Yoga in Boulder Creek, California, under the mentorship of Samantha Matthews, Kenny Graham, Alice Kennedy, and Siri Peterson. She loves studying the therapeutic application of Yoga and continuously studies Anatomy and Physiology, having recently completed training with Mark Stephens. With over 2000 teaching hours, Lucia is registered as an E-RYT 500. In 2020, Lucia also became a Hot Pilates instructor.

She is board certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Holistic Health Sciences. She blends her extensive knowledge of fitness to cultivate classes (Circuit Training, HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, and Cycling) that are invigorating, challenging, educational, and playful.

Outside of fitness, Lucia serves as VP of Business Development for RehabOne Medical Group, a multi-disciplinary Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation practice.

During her spare time she loves to eat, weight lift, read, mountain bike, paint, cook, worship the sun, mermaid in the ocean and run her Husky named Twinkles! Lucia lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
